I know this blog is all over the place and not everyone watches One Life To Live. But anyone that glances at this blog knows that's my soap! I've been watching since 1990 or so. And no matter the bad writing, miscasting, thrilling storylines or amazing cast returns I have watched and will always watch.
I posted below that my favorite OLTL actress, Susan Haskell, who portayed my favorite character, Marty Saybrooke was rumored to return to the role she created. And now it's confirmed! Poor Christina Chambers was given the role last year. And while she is a gifted actress, she just wasn't our Marty.
The storylines have been kinda meh since the scabs took over the show during the writers strike. But brilliant head writer Ron Carlivati (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Carlivati) is back and rewriting all the wrongdoing. His storylines start airing again the first week of May. And then all will be right with the world again! At least as far as OLTL is concerned.
Now let's hope he can tear away Haskell's real life love, Thorsten Kaye, from All My Children and bring him back to OLTL as Marty's true love, Patrick!
