What IS Dr. Horrible? It's a mini-series produced for the internet starring Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible. He is a low-level villian trying to get into the Evil League of Evil keeping a video blog. But getting in the way of his pursuit of evil are his feelings for Penny, portrayed by Felicia Day - the sweet adorable girl from the laundromat who helps the homeless. Also impeding his quest for evil world domination? Captain Hammer, his arch nemesis played by Nathan Fillion. Oh - and it's a MUSICAL! Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, etc.) created Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog during the writer's strike along with his brothers Zack and Jed, and Jed's fiance Maurissa Tancharoen.
