The Hold Steady Live At McCarren Pool in Bklyn

Last weekend Gaspar and I went to see The Hold Steady play a free show in Brooklyn. It was held in the McCarren Pool. That's right. A pool! But this pool has been empty for years, broken up and grafittied and rusty. But that doesn't stop JellyNYC from having shows there every weekend over the summer. There is a very chill atmosphere, beer, food, a slip-n-slide and more! And The Hold Steady rocked our socks. Our wet socks - Beacuse we got stuck in two rainstorms to see them. But it was worth it. Check out The Hold Steady's web site and google JellyNYC for more shows. :)
