Many fans on line didn't understand this, maybe they will after some sleep. Of course it was disappointing. I was crying right along with everyone else on the line. But obviously the fact that a hurricane set to be worse than Katrina hitting the same areas affected by that previous storm is huge. It's a huge story and the effects will be devastating. And never mind the fact that the show was relocating, how do you have a New Kids On The Block concert with screaming girls on the day that so many people are going to lose their homes and possibly lives? You can't.
But what ended up being a big disappointment turned into something very special. After we got the news (which I received from a security who grabbed me by the ankle and yelled "Get up! It's canceled!" Nice. Haha.) rumors spread that we shouldn't leave. Low and behold, very shortly afterwards, Joe McIntyre, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood - the 3 of the 5 New Kids already in New York - came to the line to meet all the fans that had been out there for days. No press, no great fanfare. They stayed and met each and every person there. They hugged us, thanked us, took pictures and signed autographs. It was really incredible! I'll be posting photos in a few. Even though it was a crazy time it was still worth it. Plus I made a bunch of new friends by the end of the whole thing!
Now, glutton for punishment that I am, off I go to Best Buy where all five will be signing their new album tomorrow. Good lord! :)

Since you can't get your photobuck posted over at NKOTBFans.com, why not post it here? I'd love to see!
Oh girl, my thoughts were with you all day. Glad you're okay.
