Wedding update

Hello friends and family. I've gotten a few emails lately about Gaspar and me getting married and how the plans are coming along. So here's an update...

With working retail during the crazy holidays and Gaspar studying for and then taking the NYPD Sergeants test, and our days off not synching up anymore we haven't had the chance to do much planning. Mom and I took a quick look at some dresses a couple months ago and I read half of Wedding Planning For Dummies.

Now that the holidays are over and the test is in the past we are starting to get it together again. Right now I'm compiling a list of places to look at where we can get married and have the reception in one place. If anyone has any suggestions PLEASE email them to me at joelies1976@gmail.com

One of the places we have in mind is Westbury Manor. Our friends Chris and Jackie are getting married there next month and we know a few people that have recently attended weddings there and loved it. So it's definitely in the running.

We are still aiming for a November wedding provided we can find a place that is available that we like around that time. We don't want to get married during the holiday season because it's not convenient for most people and if I am still working retail at that time I won't be able to get the time off for our wedding. (Insane!) So things are far from set but that is our goal.

The important thing is we want to do this right. We love each other and we want our wedding to be perfect. We don't want to settle. But we need help! Send any and all ideas to the email address above!
