Woo hoo! So I did some actual work on the wedding last night and today. Looked up some halls that we're interested in and talked to them about what they had to offer, meeting up with them and seeing their facility, etc. So now I finally feel like we're making real headway. Emailed some bridemaid dress ideas to the girls, wrote out a few ideas for the ceremony itself - exciting!
I don't wanna say too much in case we change our minds about some details. Still taking place in March of next year. So no worries there! But in case we make some decisions - flowers, colors, wedding song, yada yada - there's no surprise at the actual wedding!
Part of me still wants to get married in the park in jeans, a t-shirt, flip flops and a big veil. I never daydreamed about getting married or having a big wedding growing up. But that's one image that would pop into my mind time and again.
