I was writing a review of the new musical of High Fidelity but didn't get to finish it. And now there's word that only 14 days after opening the show is closing. My review was going to be pretty negative, making allowances for the incredibly talented cast. My fangirl silliness about Will Chase (who plays the lead, Rob) has been pretty apparent in my various post on my blog. I was hoping this would be a big hit for him inparticular. But after seeing it I knew it was not to be.
Instead of rehashing the good and the bad I'll just say I am sorry to see so many talented people out of work. If you have any interest, go see it before it closes this Sunday.
