After my last post I went looking around Broadway sites and message boards (theater geek!) and read that Idina Menzel was injured today during the Saturday matinee of Wicked. She apparently fell through a trapdoor in one of the last scenes and either bruised or broke a rib. Her final performance was supposed to be tomorrow. I really hope she is alright. She is one of my favorite Bway performers and an incredible lady.

I dont know who u r, but i was in the audience, and it was really scary. She was all moaning and screamed like "call 9-1-1" we waited in the audience for almost 50 minutes. They said that she hurt her leg when she went through the trap door, but i guess it was her ribs too that she hurt. i know idina and she is an amazingly strong ang brave person. the ambulence had to come and take her away, but being in green make-up and going to the ER, the doctors were probably like "hey lady a bruised rib is the least of your problems!" sry i shouldnt laugh at a 'tragedy'. So yeah it was really freaky!
