Time To Celebrate! The Writer's Strike Is (Almost) Over!

Woo hoo! The writer's are reaching their agreement today. What does that mean? New TV! Gaspar and I are proud couch potatos and DVR addicts. The strike has been killing us but soon we'll have our shows back!

This also means that our favorite show - LOST - may see a full season after all. When teh creators of the show negotiated the rest of their time on the air they agreed on a set amount of 16-episode seasons so that the show can be evenly paced and come to an end without being dragged out. Then the strike hit and we were only going to get 8 episodes after waiting alomots a whole year. But that's about to change.

Other shows that are coming back this same season that I'm excited about:
The Big Bang Theory
30 Rock
Brothers and Sisters
Desperate Housewives
THE OFFICE!
Ugly Betty
Saturday Night Live

We are going to have to wait a bit longer (like next season)for new episodes of:
24
ER
Heroes
Law And Order (not sure about when SVU will air)
Pushing Daisies

Sadly, one of my favorite shows of the past new season, Journeyman, will not be returning at all. It wasn't officially cancelled but they allowed all contracts to lapse. Which amounts to cancellation - boooo!

BUT - Jericho is back after a fierce fan campaign to bring back the show. Hopefully these next 6 episodes aren't the last.

Bye bye Bionic (YAWN) Woman

Has Cane been put out of its misery? No official word yet. But if its gone Nestor Carbonell can return to LOST as the never-aging Richard!

More news to come!
